Three weeks back, Nora Black was finishing her drink
All alone and on her own, she couldn't help but think
So she took the can for her plan, what she did then was this:

Hello there, I'm Nora, and I'm 13 years old,
I like paper planes, and all things red, and the winter 'cause it's cold
I'm also into comic books and silent films too
But I'm always kind of lonely so I'd like a friend like you

Can in hand, Nora planned to send it far away
Some pictures, too, to give a view into her every day
Launched on the sea, so carefully, from Nora's rusty beach
On that seaside, she thought with pride of the people she could reach

Hello there, I'm Nora, and I'm 13 years old,
I like paper planes, and all things red, and the winter 'cause it's cold

With some luck, the note washed up in the distant southern seas
Where they couldn't read, but they believed Nora wrote of prophecies
The island's king ordered the building of a Nora Worship Shrine
Her pictures, her note, and her cola can boat were regarded as divine

"Hello there, I'm Nora, and now I'm a goddess,
It's pretty fun, there's no hard work, but I have to wear a dress
Everyone looks up to me, which gives me quite a fright
But now I've got a lot of friends, so I guess it's all all right."
As for holy Nora, she went back to her world
Comic books and paper planes, a lonely teenage girl
Unaware of her religion, this is where her story ends,
it's too bad that they never met, I'm sure they would have made good friends
